PROJECT I.G.N.I.T.E. Lights the Way at Pogo-Lasip Elementary School

DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan  – The Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan (RCCP) successfully launched today, 01 June 2026, PROJECT I.G.N.I.T.E. (Inspiring Growth through Needed Items, Tools and Education) at Pogo-Lasip Elementary School as part of the nationwide Brigada Eskwela 2026 program, reaffirming Rotary's commitment to supporting education and community development.

A highlight of the activity was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan and Pogo-Lasip Elementary School. RCCP President-elect Jason Estrada and Principal IV Milagros Y. Embuido formally signed the agreement, establishing a partnership aimed at enhancing the school's learning environment and supporting the week-long Brigada Eskwela activities.

Under the MOU, RCCP committed to providing paint and cleaning materials, snacks, first aid kits, and volunteer manpower to assist in the cleaning, repair, and beautification of the school grounds. In turn, Pogo-Lasip Elementary School pledged to provide the necessary materials and support to ensure the successful implementation of the project.

Another significant highlight of the activity was the Signing on the Commitment Wall, where representatives from the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan, school officials, stakeholders, and community partners affixed their signatures as a symbol of their unwavering support and commitment to the programs, projects, and future development initiatives of Pogo-Lasip Elementary School. The Commitment Wall serves as a lasting reminder of the shared responsibility of all stakeholders in fostering a nurturing, safe, and empowering learning environment for every learner.

Joining PE Jason Estrada during the activity were PP Nats Alipio, PP Ray Siapno, PP Mike Villamor, Dir. Jovie Ereso, Dir. Merissa Villamor, Dir. Rose Cabatbat, Dir. Muhammad Shamim, Rtn. Rizza Paramio, and Rtn. Bhogz Hernando, who all contributed their time and effort in making the project a success.

The activity also featured the turnover of project materials, community fellowship, and the participation of school officials, teachers, stakeholders, and volunteers who share a common goal of creating a safer, cleaner, and more conducive learning environment for the students of Pogo-Lasip Elementary School.

Through PROJECT I.G.N.I.T.E., RCCP continues to embody Rotary's commitment to "Create Lasting Impact" by investing in education and empowering communities through meaningful and sustainable service projects.
