RCCP JOINS CLUSTER 2-B BLOODLETTING PROJECT

The Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan, Inc. (RCCP) joined fellow Rotarians and community partners in a bloodletting activity organized by the Rotary Clubs of Cluster 2-B of Rotary International District 3790 on August 22, 2026, at the Knights of Columbus Chamber of Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish (SGAP) in Bonuan Boquig, Dagupan City.
Led by President Jason Estrada, RCCP participated in the humanitarian initiative alongside the Rotary Club of Downtown Dagupan (RCDD), the project’s initiating club under President Hep Vinluan, together with the Rotary Club of Dagupan, Rotary Club of Uptown Dagupan 2000, and Rotary Club of Dagupan East.
Representing RCCP during the activity were President Jason Estrada, Past President Nats Alipio, and Public Image Director Claire Enrile, who joined the gathering not only to support the blood donation drive but also to strengthen the spirit of fellowship and cooperation among the Rotary clubs of Cluster 2-B.
Held in partnership with the Knights of Columbus, the SGAP Social Services Ministry, and Region 1 Medical Center (R1MC), the activity provided an opportunity for Rotarians and volunteers to give something as simple as a portion of their blood yet potentially make a life-changing difference to someone in need.
For RCCP, the bloodletting activity was a meaningful reminder that Rotary service does not always require grand projects, as a single act of generosity can become a vital contribution to the life and recovery of another person.
President Hep Vinluan of RCDD, in welcoming the participants, highlighted the importance of sustaining a culture of voluntary blood donation, particularly because hospitals and patients depend on the availability of safe blood during medical emergencies, surgeries, accidents, childbirth complications, and serious illnesses.
Assistant Governor Florentino “Jojo” Cuison likewise emphasized the value of working together as a cluster, pointing out that stronger cooperation among the clubs allows them to maximize their collective resources and capabilities while creating opportunities for individual clubs to grow through shared service experiences.
The activity was further strengthened by the participation of the Inner Wheel Club of Downtown Dagupan, Eagles Club, Lions Club, and other non-government organizations and community volunteers who shared in the common objective of helping save lives.
RCCP’s participation underscores the club’s commitment to supporting worthwhile Cluster 2-B initiatives and building stronger partnerships through service, reinforcing its Rotary Year 2026–2027 call to Stay Informed. Stay Inspired. Stay Rotary.
