RCCP Joins Dagupan’s Celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day

In solidarity with the entire nation, the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan proudly joined the celebration of the 128th Philippine Independence Day together with fellow Rotary Clubs of Cluster 2B and various civic and non-government organizations in the City of Dagupan.

The commemorative program honored the courage, sacrifices, and patriotism of the Filipino heroes who fought for the country’s freedom and independence.
The activity was led by Her Honor, Mayor Belen Fernandez, together with officials of the City Government of Dagupan and representatives from different sectors of the community.

The Cluster 2B Rotary contingent was spearheaded by Assistant Governor Florentino “Jojo” Cuison, who led the participating Rotary Clubs in this meaningful observance of patriotism and national pride.
Following the program, all participating stakeholders solemnly laid wreaths at the monument of Jose Rizal as a symbol of gratitude and respect for his enduring legacy and contribution to the nation’s freedom.

Representing the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan were Club President for Rotary Year 2026–2027 Jason Estrada, Past President Nats Alipio, and Club Secretary Red Petrola.
Also present during the celebration were other Rotary Club Presidents of Cluster 2B including Boyet Bigcas of the Rotary Club of Dagupan and Atty. Herman Vinluan of the Rotary Club of Downtown Dagupan. Meanwhile, Rotarian and former club secretary Mitz Cresencio represented the Rotary Club of Dagupan East.

Through its participation in this meaningful observance, the Rotary Club of Central Pangasinan reaffirmed its commitment to promoting patriotism, preserving the memory of our national heroes, and inspiring future generations to uphold the values of freedom, unity, and Service Above Self.
